I've read the manual but am still unsure about creating characters.
So far (and please correct me if I'm wrong!) Im drawing a character in paint, image by image for walking and then copy and pasting each character image into my sprite manager. When i then go to 'views' my character is appearing over where 'Roger' was.
Am i right in saying that if i just keep doing this then eventually i will of created a walking character ?
Also how do i go about resizing my character, can i do that after it's been created or does it have to be done before being imported, and one last thing - my character in 'views' is surrounded my flouressant pink, where as Roger has a black box around him - will this show in my game, is there something ive done wrong ?
Thanks in advance.

Placing the character's walking images in loops such as those Roger has will give you a walking character just as you said.
As to resizing, I'm not sure about this but resizing character in graphic program is probably the only way.
Don't bother with the pink background. It won't be visible in game.
