This is my first post on this forum.
Here comes a question from a real-life hardcore newbie: I downloaded AGS and tried to make my very first game so that I read the tutorial as I go along. The version used in the tutorial seemed to be different, maybe older, than the one I have (I downloaded ags_27.zip). When putting a backgroung image for your room, the tutorial suggests pressing the "Import Background" button (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/acintro2.htm), but I am seroius when I say I can't find that button! I tried to read the tutorial a bit ahead so that "maybe it will clear itself out", or I find the button suddenly, but this didn't happen.
The question is: How do I add a background image for my room, if I can't find the button in question OR Where is the button in question, since it isn't where the tutorial suggests it would be?
As of AGS v2.7, the button has been removed and its functionality moved to the menu.
Just select the "Room Editor" pane and look in the "Room" menu.
