I need help!

I'm just getting started with ags and have some questions. First, I need to know how to make a good background. Do you draw these in some kind of paint program? Secondly, I need to know where I can get some good resources(i.e. swords for my inv., backgrounds, etc.). If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Yes most people draw their backgrounds in some kind of paint program.  Take a look at the critics lounge and you'll find lots of examples of the backgrounds people have done with some kind of paint program.  There are also lots of tutorials for doing this at the top of that forum.  You can also draw inventory items using some kind of paint program.  If you're looking for pre-made backgrounds and inventory items try the insta-game pack which I believe is linked on the main AGS page.  

Finally when posting to the forums please provide a more descriptive subject title than "I need help!"

please, dont post non ags technical related problems in this forum section, nor the regular tech forum.  the forum rules state this. if you need further help with backgronds, please make a post in the critics lounge, where you will also find helpful tutorials.
Also, please make better subject titles, so it can help anyone find your topic, and to help in the search tool.  and dont be afraid to check out that search forum tool.
