How do i begin making my game

And what do mean with "don't know how to begin making my adventure game"? If you mean some technical aspects on how to make a use of AGS then the best idea would be to visit the on-line beginners tutorial first: http://www.agsforums.com/acintro.htm

Indeed. Did you even try looking at the www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk web site? Did you bother reading the "READ THIS BEFORE ALL ELSE" sticky thread in this very forum? Did you even look at the Beginners' FAQ available in that very same thread?

Please, before you ask for help on how to start, read all the available texts, INCLUDING the help file that comes with AGS.

I think we should change the Sticky by Erica McLane to say "NEED HELP?  How to start an Adventure Game with AGS" instead of "READ FIRST: Beginner's Help"

This might have better results in keeping the new (and excited) people from posting the same question(s) over and over.

gandalf654 - There are a lot of threads asking this already and they have a ton of useful information in them.  Just try scanning through the first 5 or 6 pages of the board and you'll find plenty to help you out.

perhaps he needs help with an idea?

My advice is to just think of one thing, a charactor a setting a line of dialogue anything and the rest will follow, decide what resolution to do it in and draw your pictures first, this helps me to plan the storyline a puzzles before programming.
