ok, i did not see this in the faqs or knowledge base, but i just might be blind.
My current project is 640* 480 and coming along fine, and I have already made and used masks for walk-behind areas. However, seeking to be more precise in my walkable areas, I made a walkable area mask for one of my rooms, but when i try to use it it tells me the mask is a dfferent size than the room, and needs to be 320*200. The room graphic is 640*480 as are both masks, yet one does not work. Any ideas? ???

Nope, high res. walkable area/hotspot/region masks will probably never be supported. As the internal resolution the engine can handle in a 640x480 game is 320x240, there is no point in implementing high res. ones. On the other hand, as the walkbehind areas do not involve in much interaction, etc. of the game, high res. masks are supported only for decorative reasons.

sigh,ok thanks. I should have figured, as I  have noticed the internal res is diferent that what i am using, makes it real fun getting controls on a gui to line up with a background graphic, but as i already have a lot into this one, it would be to much trouble to convert it to 320*200.

Sigh, well thanks for the clarification, it makes more sense now.
