Post by: on Tue 26/08/2003 18:52:00
Ive just only experienced it but when i tried to put an image of a cursor onto my game. I used a pink background to make it transparent and its makes the black outline transparent instead of the background what do I do?

I'd change the black shde it up just a notch so that it won't be considered black. 8)

When you import a sprite you can choose the transparency a number of ways.

where it says Transparency colour: there is a drop down box with 5 options.

eg. top-left pixel, bottom right pixel etc

also, you don't need to make the background pink to make it transparent, any colour will work, and if you don't want any transparent bits select: pallete index 0.

I hope that helps.
