Maybe I'm missing something, but in all the tutorials I've found it talks about an interactions or events window thing where you can click on which even you want to put code in and it'll put that in your room script. AGS 3 doesn't seem to have this anywhere, so I assume they're all talking about AGS 2.7 or something. I haven't found any answers in the manual, forums, or wiki and it's getting under my skin. All I see is a blank room script and when I put code in the compiler doesn't accept that. I know code is supposed to go in functions but I have no idea what functions to put there. I'm truly lost as to how to actually program....well, anything that happens in a room.

For instance, I'm trying to program an introduction sequence that slideshows a few pictures and then sends you to the first playable room in the game. I've got the interfaces disabled and everything but I don't know how to get it to change to another room after a certain amount of time. Where do I put the code to wait a few seconds and then change the room to the second slide in the introduction?

When you're editing the room, there should be a lightning bolt icon at the top of the properties pane. Clicking on the ellipses to the right of any of the listed events, will create a function where you can write your code.

Thank you so much! That really opens up a lot.
