I'm working on a short game to try to find out how to run AGS, so naturally its corny with poor graphics. However I was wondering about a problem with my inventory items.
I worked it out so that when you ask a character about a recent attack on the village, he tells you something about hiding under a tree and finding a talon afterwards. He then gives you the talon. However once you get the talon, the inventory GUI messes up and I am unable to close the dialogue box.
I did edit the GUI buttons, however it doesnt seem to have made a difference because before I get the item it works perfectly.
Can anyone help?
Edit: I never actually deleted any buttons, I just added in new sprites for the buttons.
It's not clear in what way it messes up, any chance to see a screenshot, or a test game? But changing graphics of the default inventory GUI could cause something like this to happen, I believe. Especially, in conjunction with some abnormal size of the inventory item sprite.
