I'm sorry if I'm posting this wrong. I have downloaded all the things necessary to run AGS and I've even made a background but I tried to run the game as it says in the tutorial says but it gives me this error  Anyone know how to fix this? I also got this message when I tried to play A Second Face. Thank you and sorry if I've messed up.

Well did you actually try to change graphics card driver from Direct 3d to Direct draw in the setup?

Well no. I feel kinda stupid for not thinking of that. But I got it to work so thats good. Thanks for the help.
