The help text for IsChannelPlaying() states:
"if the user doesn't have a sound card this will always return 0."
Is that even possible with contemporary computers, or is that a remnant from the DOS era?
Sure there are computers with no sound card or maybe the drivers are not installed correctly etc.
Anyone playing video games sans a soundcard deserves errors en masse.
Why? I did that for years in the past.
Also, the PC CD-ROM version of LOOMTM did not require (did not support any) soundcard, while the unenhanced floppy one could use a soundcard. :=
