I am on a Mac running AGS on Windows XP via Parallels. I'm having a very basic problem with simply starting a new game â€" when I name my game/folder and click continue, I always get an error message that says, "The folder name you have specified includes some invalid characters. Please just use letters and numbers." even though I have used just letters. I found an old forum describing the exact same problem here (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=37467.0). I see that it went unresolved, so if this is a problem that can't be fixed, would it be possible for someone to just save an empty game file and send it to me as a sort of quick and dirty way of working around the bug, so I wouldn't have to use the new game wizard at all?
