Title: Latest AGS Version To Work With densming's Tutorials

Hopefully this is the right place.
I've been nutting out ideas and characters for an AGS game for a while, and feel I'm finally in a position to start maing the damn thing. The only problem is that I'm not very clued up on scripting and the like. On YouTube, as many will know already, there's a series of helpful tutorials by an AGS member named densming. What I'd like to know is, what's the latest/most recent version of AGS compatible with these lessons? I read somewhere the scripting language required had undergone a change or something...

the most recent version will work with his versions. at one point in his vids, he does some scripting within the dialogs that couldn't be done before 3.1
