Title: linking games to your ID
Post by: Pixelton on Thu 09/09/2010 13:51:13
Hello guys

I've been trying to link my last little AGS game "Johnny Rockett Adventure" to my forum ID but for the life of me I've never been able to do it. I always seem to get an Invalid password page which is bizarre. I'm using my real registered forum name and my password is correct...

I know this is probably a real lame thing to post here but I thought I would just to see if anyone else had similar problems, I use the latest IE wioth windows 7 so I'm not sure if its a browser based problem but any help would be appreciated...I know...I feel stupid for asking.

Cheers

Don't feel stupid for the question - feel stupid for using the IE....

Sorry, can't help you, haven't finished a game yet  ;)

I never got those. :-\

You just place your name as first being birritan and not Mark Borg. Mark Borg won't be accepted. It needs your USERNAME. Perhaps that's the reason?

You're not alone, it happened to me once too.
Basically when I saved the game's details for the first time it gave me an error. It saved the game but not the authors, and when I tried to edit it I got an invalid password, probably because it didn't know that the game was mine (because it assigns the game to the first line in the authors list).

I PMed CJ and he fixed it for me, I would advise you to do the same...
