Title: Lucas interface

OK, I know this is a very easy issue but I just can't find the answer anywhere. I've been looking in the tutorials and everywhere on the forum but I just can't find it.

I just want to know how to make my game with the Lucas interface(so that when I put my cursor over a hotspot or an object the name of it appears over the cursor

There are several Demos, you should really try them.

But if you only want to have the Name on a label, you have to give the Label the text "@OVERHOTSPOT@".

Hey there,

i had a hard time figuring this out myself !

Dont always listen to the perfect mod's.

I had to start a new game after fiddling around with various settings ALOT. Then i choose the 'Verb Coin'  template, and voila it worked ! Now i see 'description' text as mentioned in the Manual.

But there is never ever mentioned how to make this work !

WTF?

A simple search for "hotspot cursor text" will produce helpful threads about that immediately.

Neither of those guys are mods.....


And to the OP, check out the manual Interface text. That will explain @OVERHOTSPOT@ and other builtin tricks (like @SCORE@, @GAMENAME@, etc)
