So I have a question, I'm making a game, more or less a "get to know the program" game, and I'm currently working on maps, but I tried importing ROOM1, and it seems that at the resolution the room is at, 320x200, (which I looked up as the main resolution for smaller games) the map doesn't fit the screen after testing the game. (It's more at the top left and some of it is cut off going up) Is there something I'm overlooking? Can I center the room or does it have to be a different size, even though I'm making the game in 320x200 resolution. Any help would be appreciated, I know this is a fairly basic question, and I actually wasn't going to even ask it, but I wanted to make sure, if the rooms had to be a certain size, to know for sure before making more of them.

Thanks!

Room background graphics are supposed to be the same size as the game resolution or bigger. If they're bigger, they'll scroll automatically so that the character is centered.
I'm not really sure how to interpret your first sentence, if you want a game map allowing the player to travel to different locations, it shouldn't be bigger than 320x200 if you're making a 320x200 game.
