Right what you do is : get whichever music file you want, copy it,pase it into the game folder, name it music1 or music3 or whatever, righ done, then to enter it into AGS you load room editor and click on the room setings tab, then you will see a box which says play music on room load [ ] in the box you enter the number of the music you named, test game and then thats it ;D

P.S if you name the music music0 then it will allways load at the start of the game without needing a prompt.

hopes that helps

When you start a new game in ags, ags creates a new folder for your game. Example:

AGS: C:\AGS
Your game: C:\AGS\Gamename

So, C:\AGS\Gamename is your game's folder where you put all your music, sound effects etc.

For a test download a midi file, rename it to music1.mid and put it into your game's folder. Then open AGS and load your game. Go to the first room in Room editor's Settings page. Then check the "Play music on room load" option and type "1" (without the "-marks (can't remember what they're called in English)) into the box next to the play music option. Save the room and your game and test. The music should now play when the room has loaded.

-EDIT-

Oh, damn... :P
