I am not sure if i am wrighting at the right section but i would like to ask something that is not quite clear to me.
Can i make the dialogs of my game in my own languege and not in english ang how am I going to achieve something like that?
Thank you very much
Well, it's not really the right place since the (beginner's) technical forum is for technical questions..
I don't understand your question though. Of course you can write in whatever language you want. And in addition you can even write in more than one language and let the people decide which language they want via the setup.exe.
If your language requires characters not provided by the default AGS fonts, you can import a TTF in the Fonts tab of the editor... Just guessing that this might be your problem.
The only problem will be, currently AGS supports only up to 256 characters in a TTF. So, you need to find some other ways if your language uses more than 256 different characters, like the Asian CJK languages.
As you suggested i imported greek fonts and the letters still are english.Does anyone know or can suggest me any workable greek fonts??
Thank you all for your replies
You have to set the Game.NormalFont property to the number of the greek font in game_start.
I go at the normal font and import my font.
Where am i supposed to find the game_start, to set the Game.NormalFont property to the number of the greek font I imported?
The game start section can be found in the global script (under scripts in the panel to the right).
game_start is part of the global script.
search for the line "function game_start(){" .
My problem remains..I import greek fonts in AGS and i do not get greek letters i get english .
At the project tree , fonts , 0:Normal ,Import over this font: I import some greek fonts and remain english ...
I still can't figure out what is going on...Please can anyone suggest me a solution?
:(
It depends on whether the Greek letters use the base 256 ASCII indices, if not you may need to get a font editor and try to substitute some slots in these base indices with the Greek letters.
Where do you want to use the font anyway? For speech? or for a text box/label's text?

Thanks you all for your help I found the solution to my problem with a trick. Anyone who wants greek letters for AGS I can send them.
I supposed the language that should be used here is English...
Yeah, if you talk with foreign languages here, at least provide an English translation at the same time.
