Title: Moving character
Post by: on Sun 03/12/2006 11:05:36
I've realised the basic positions of my first character.
I'd like to know how to make him coming close or far in the background
Need more drawings or there's a faster method in editor?
Thanks

It sounds like you want 'Continuous Scaling'.

Quote from: The Manual
If you check the "Use continuous scaling" box, then rather than just specifying a zoom level for the whole walkable area, you specify a min and max zoom level. These specify the scaling at the top and bottom of the walkable area. When the game is run, AGS will interpolate these values to make the character smoothly scale down from one value to another as he walks towards the back or front of the screen.

(From this page (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/manual/Character%20scaling.htm).)

If not can you clear up what you are asking, please?

Flayer, please use the forum PM function for this. Click Guybrush379's name, then 'Send this member a Personal Message'. Or, you can access the Message Index by clicking the link at the top of the page (where it says Hey, TheFlayer, you have X messages, y are new).

But, your English seems fine to me.
