what you need to do is open the file of ags and than click on the icon with the mug. it is explained in the turitorial.

...or use the "Make My Game" option in AGS... but that won't neccesary work for you, depends on machine configuration...

A better way is to check that your grammar is ok, then write a story (as DM already said), not too long so you can put it up as a game, have someone(s) read the story, make improvements, and when the story is ready, plan the locations and such, then draw the graphics for the game (as darth said), and when you have all set, put the game together in AGS (as darth said). Don't forget to read the tutorials and browse the forum for tips n such. And the Critics lounge is just for you if you think your artwork is missing something.
