hi im robert i just got ags and i have no clue how to script but i did lern the basics on ags without scripting but i dont know why but i cant import my own carectersi download some carecters but they wont import i mean roger is great and everything but thats boring with one carecter throgh the whole game someone help :-[
Characters are just a combination of views and basic interactions. If you got a character from somewhere (downloaded it), just hit the Characters tab inside the IDE and then press the Import button. This allows you to import CHA files.
If you wish to make characters of your own, you need to draw some graphics and put them in a view. Then, again in Characters, click on New, name your character, assign the views, and Bob's your uncle. Make sure to check the "This is the player character" box for your new character.
You may also want to check the BFAQ for this, since it is a very basic question and covered there.
Please use more descriptive titles/subjects for your forum posts. It can make searching for similar topics within the forums much easier.
