I'm going to make my own game. AGS seems to be better instead of direct programming languages.
But then... I face the big problem; I cannot make required backgrounds or any images at my own! >:(
I still want this to be "one-man-project". I have all my own visions and I don't want others to make images for me.... unless I totally suck as a drawer and depress because of it.... but.... mainly I need make images of rooms like in this game:
http://www.fasco-csc.com/works/crimson/crimson_e.php
So... no need for stunning 3D graphic or fancy pictures.
Also, as in that game in the link, I think I'm going to make transitions between angles (1st person view) when turning into other direction. It's not primary thing... just a pictures would be fine if I'm even worse with animations.
is there any sort of program (freeware) which is designer for making rooms? I mean I do not want any programming things or special 3D designers... just a painter to make images. Or are there anything "tutorial" to paint background images?
I desperately need good advices.................. ???
Edit: I have already seen "The Big List Of Paint Programs!" topic, and I'm trying them all, but I think it's not because of the program... but because of the drawer itself!
It's same thing as about my favourite phrase of officers who have problems with computers: "There are no use of tools if you can't use them" ;)
I think using this link you will find some valuable links to some pretty good tutorials and some other information you might want. I find just playing thru some of the games I am wanting to model after help sometimes me with my perspective etc...
Hope this helps a little.

And also there is a "Tutorial Redux" list on the Critic's Lounge that would be helpful to your this 'technical' problem. :)
This doesn't really belong here, particularly as you already have a thread on the actually technical side.
Check out the tutorials Gord suggested (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=32133.0), post in Critics Lounge for improvements after you've tried. If worst comes to worst, try recruiting an artist to help (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=30347.msg415758#new). But don't post art questions in the Technical forums :)
