Title: ogv playback in AGS purple with weird shadowing/glitches
Post by: Tycho Magnetic Anomaly on Sat 01/07/2017 13:53:58
Sorry to ask yet more video related questions, but since this was not much related to my last post i thought i aught to make a new one

we have a source video prepared to playback in ags. However, when implemented into ags the video plays back with a purple tint, also there is weird shadowing/glitching going on with text. Can anyone help.. bit of an emergency also :D

Is your video of same color depth as your game (and what is it)?
Also, does it matter what gfx driver uis set in setup?

Hi Crimson Wizard ...  the depth was true color,  but we did manage to get this sorted in the end, after almost giving up with it..  it was related to the source video that the ogv converter was using... the source needed to be compressed in a certain way before converting to ogv... seemed to do the trick anyway :)
