I have a basic problem. I am running Windows XP via Parallels, and playing AGS games works fine.
However, I'm just beginning to use AGS Editor and so I started the tutorial. But I am unable to save at the "Start New Game" window. Because I am using Parallels the Create in Folder input box automatically comes up with "\\.psf\Home\Documents". When I press Finish I get an error that states "The folder name you have specified includes some invalid characters. Please just use letters and numbers." I tried changing it to "Desktop" for example and it gave me the same error.
What do I do in order to create a new game and get going with the tutorial?
BTW I did search the threads and did not see anything that addressed this issue already.
Thanks - Fivel
I have no idea what Parallels is, but I'm guessing you're having problems because there is a period in your filepath.
Here are two downloads for a game made with the default and Verbcoin templates. Try unpacking them, and opening the .agf file directly.

PS-I'll delete the files eventually.
Parallels is a Mac program to run virtual machines.
fivel: Try changing the path to a short, absolute one like "c:\AGS\"
Thanks for the help. But I am still getting error message when I try to create a new game in my Parallels shared folder. The error message is "Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed"
Move the AGS dir?
