Hello everybody. I have two problem:

1- How can I use an inventory object on another one?
I use Sierra like inventory and I think I should add a button that can make it possible. At the moment I can use only LOOK and SELECT. How can I create this button?

2- My second problem is similar. I need another button in the inventory window that can interact with my objects (for example: opening a box; searching a box).

Can someone help me?

Thank you very much.

1.
When you 'Select' an item and the cursor graphic changes to the item graphic, you should be able to click that item on other items to 'use' them together. See the BFAQ (also this one might help too).

2.
Which part of adding the button do you need help with? Very basically (and paraphrasing the Manual):
  • Go to your Inventory GUI in the Editor.
  • Click the 'New Button' button (a grey box with 'BUT' on it).
  • Click and hold the left mouse button to drag it out to the size you want.
  • Set the Graphic.
  • On the floating 'Properties' window, set 'Left Click' to 'SetCursor Mode'.
  • Set 'New mode number' to anything other than 1 or 2 (Look and Interact).
  • Repeat as needed.
  • Set the Inventory Item interactions as needed. (E.g. so that eModeTalkto - or whichever mode you used - will open the box.)

There's more (check the manual and previous posts), but that SHOULD work. If you have any other questions you can't find answers to, ask them. (Be sure to mention what you've already done, and what about it isn't working right.)
I know what you're thinking ... Don't think that.
