Post by: Korven on Sun 29/06/2008 18:10:04
It seems that when I'm testing it, the only colors I can see it black walls and white edges of them. And if someone could tell how I upload a picture I would be happy since I can't find the button fot it =(

Looked at that thing already, and it's under additional options. There is nothing there except three alternatives:

I don't understand what your problem is, but to make it easy:

1. Upload a picture here: http://www.2dadventure.com/ags/upload/upload.html

2. Use [img ]http://somesite/image.gif[ /img] (without the spacings)

Edit: Ah, I see. There is a thing called "Scrollbar". Below these three alternatives is the "SMF Bulletin Board Code" with a table of the codes you need. An this is a thread dealing with screenshots: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=6297.0

Yes, you can't upload images directly the forums. You have to upload them to a free image hoster.

You've set the game's default color depth to 32-bit. Are you sure you've saved the backgound image in 32-bit?

..though I don't know if this is necessary..

I've loaded the background into room 2, then changed the game to 32bit. Worked fine.
Did you import the background as jpeg or was it maybe a bmp and turned to jpg by imageshack?

Anyway, try saving the pic as png and don't use 32bit unless you really need to (use 16bit instead).
