Title: Question about changing character size
Post by: on Sat 10/06/2006 11:22:25
Well, guys, who can tell me how to change the size of EGO during the game? I mean such situation.

EGO goes outside his room. Obviously, outside the house his size should be much more smaller. How may I achieve that?

Set the scale for the walkable area that he's standing on to something under 100%

There're two ways: change the scaling of the walkable area outside the house as scotch said (or use the Character.Scaling property (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/manual/Character.Scaling.htm)), or make another view for the character using smaller sprites and change to that when they leave the house (Character.ChangeView (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/manual/Character.ChangeView.htm)). The second way is more more work but might look better, particularly if there's a big difference in size.

Or, just make the house bigger...
