Title: Resolution/Colors Help
Post by: on Thu 22/01/2004 03:09:21
It seems as if every game created with this is no larger than 640 res and 256 colors, is that correct?  My laptop screen cannot display to those requirements.  Is there anyway i can still paly these games and start creating my own?

thanks

Check out this thread (http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=6;action=display;threadid=11099)

But, to quote Gil from the thread:

"Valid resolutions are:
320*200, 640*400
320*240, 640*480
400*300, 800*600"

You can run the setup file for all games and choose to run it in 'Windowed Mode' as well.

You can run the setup file for all games and choose to run it in 'Windowed Mode' as well.

Run the setup program and click the box marked "run in a window"... I tend to do that anyway.

Anyway, are you sure that youre laptop won't display them: have you actually tried? You SHOULD NOT change your desktop size before running, you know: the programs dont use the desktop...
