I already made a room a walkable area, and interactions like hotspots but I did the regions so I could leave the room butr when I use the eye cursor didn't work, the hand cursor didn't work, and the other cursors like the walking one didn't work. I tried changing the global script and it still didn't like me. So I was wondering how do I fix it? If I am posting in the wrong forum please just move the question to the other forum instead of locking it like you did to the other ones. Please.

Ghost

You must have something in your room the interaction can take place on. Hotspots and Objects can have interaction but need to be created, too. So if all you have is a walkable area, you won't be able to get any interaction at all.

Try this: Go to Room Editor, Areas. Select Hotspots in the combobox. Use the drawing tools to create a solid area- for example on a tree in your locations. Then hit the interaction button. Supply interactions. Now start your game, and interact with the area where you know your hotspot is.

Khris

Yup, what Ghost said.

But what's "everything that you need to do in AGS"? Did you follow the tutorial in the helpfile?

(Btw, threads don't get locked without a good reason. If your question is in the wrong forum, it gets moved. If it's bleeding obvious that you didn't read the README ME BEFORE POSTING-sticky thread, it gets locked.)

Khris is (as usual) a little blunter that I'd like, but basically to the point.
However, if a thread is locked that you don't think should be, PM the person who locked it (me, for both of yours) or another moderator - they'll either unlock it or explain exactly why it should've been locked. DON'T just post the same thing again.

If it'll stop you making a third thread on the same subject, I'll let this one stand at least until you explain your problem in more detail - from what you've posted so far it just sounds like you haven't bothered reading the tutorial. If Ghost's reply doesn't solve you problem, we'll need more detail. What do you want to do, what have you tried, what is/isn't happening, what 'interactions buttons' did you try and what did you do with tem, what did you change in the global script, the usual things I ask for when people don't describe their problems. It really does sound like you're missing the bleeding obvious, and this thread'll end up locked as well, but that could just be because you haven't actually TOLD us anything.
I know what you're thinking ... Don't think that.
