Title: Room sizes. [SOLVED]
Post by: Sewer Agent on Mon 07/02/2005 19:01:02
This is a question that may have been asked a thousand times before. If so could someone direct me to a tutorial to show me what to do in this case.

My question is that if I want a smaller res room in a higher res game (so the room is smaller.) is there a way I can get the objects to auto-re-size and is there a way to get this smaller room in the middle of the screen rather than in the top left?

Thanks.

Use an image editing program to add enough blank space to the edges of the background that you get it centered would be my go.

And Rich: I didn't find anything concerning this in the BFAQ. Could be that I just missed it, though...

If the background is say 640-350 , I make a background that is the color I want and and the size of the game and paste that small picture in to the center of it .

Ishmael: That's because this is the first time I've heard this question. But I guess I could add it.

EDIT:
Plus, no offense to Sewer Agent, but it should be common sense to add black space around an image to make it fit the dimensions. :P

Thanks all for your help. I'll use the black background idea. Thanks.
