Animation only works when straight down and down-left down-right!

Hi my animation only works when its going straight down or down-right down-left. I just made animations in the views... see the picture wich directions work and not.



How do I manage to get it work also for the other directions?

You really can't without some Insane scripting. That is, I'm assuming the red wasn't working.

So if your character is walking any direction other than a perfect diagonal or straight line, then what IS displayed? Also, ,did you check to see if all your animations, views,  loops, etc. were all in the right slots? That is, 0 for up, 1 for down, etc., etc. (or whatever they are).

And also be sure to check that the player character isn't set to ignore diaganol views or whatever.

Do you seriously need more than the 8 directional walking views?

no, I actually only need 2 :s ... for up and down.. and maybee also left and right... but I can't still manage to get it all work!

Oh, now I get it. But wait...if you didn't want more than the 8 directionals, then what DO you need? You're not exactly clear on this. If you need directions BETWEEN the diagonals and the cardinals (N/S/W/E), then yes you will indeed need some INSANE scripting. And now, looking at when you said "script please?" I just laughed. I doubt even RickJ could come up with that code...and that's saying something!

are you making new loops? in the view manager click new loop and it has the view for left, click again, for right, then again for down. Keep going then you get diagonals.

If you did this already, then I apologize if I sounded condescending since you are already aware of it.
