Im trying my best not to ask questions and find them on my own, but maybeI'm not looking in the right spot. :-[
Everytime i go to manual and type in whatI'm looking for it says...ooops page does not exist...Can someone help me out where would be the best place to look for simple AGS related stuff...I hear people mention all the time to look at the manual, when i go there and type in whatI'm looking for...once again...oops page not found....

sorry such a noob, any links or anything of sort would be appreciated. Im not looking for anything inpaticular, but a place to type in whatI'm looking for would greatly help

Could you give a few examples of what you're looking for?

After the tutorial, the manual is mostly a resource for scripting commands, not solutions for coding problems.
We do tell people to look at the manual if they ask stuff like "how can i get what's under the cursor"; naturally they won't find the answer by typing that question into the search box; but they will find e.g. Game.GetLocationType or Hotspot.GetAtScreenXY if they peruse it.

In general you should have much more luck using the forum search; there are people who manage to put a fitting title onto their thread.

Are you maybe referring not to the manual, but to the Knowledge Base? Because the search there is broken and gives indeed an "Ops! [...] This page doesn't exist." everytime.

If someone can point me toward animating objects it would help.
and Yes...Your right, it was the knowledge base, Just trying to find an easy way to look for certain things....again...nothing inparticular.
Is there a search functionI'm missing besides the forum one?

Ah, that explains it.

Well, AGS has a built-in help file/manual (menu Help->Contents/Index, and if you've used the installer, there should also be a "Read the manual" entry in the AGS folder of Windows' start menu) which includes a tutorial. Animations are explained in the tutorial as well. That's probably the best way to start and understand the concept of animations and objects in AGS.

The manual is also available online, but in a slightly out-of-date version, here on the AGS page: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/manual/
and here on the AGS wiki: http://americangirlscouts.org/agswiki/Contents_%28manual%29
The latter has a search function (for the whole wiki, not only the manual)

Additionally, you might want to check out densming's video tutorials: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=21DB402CB4DAEAEF
Though keep in mind some things may not be up-to-date there, too, especially when it comes to sound and music.

Yeah, and what Tomatoes said.

You can also open the help file by pressing F1 in the editor. The index is very helpful as you just have to type in "object" or "character" to see all the functions and parameters available:
