Title: scripting?
Post by: Joelman on Thu 04/12/2003 21:37:46
Hey all, I don't have the mental capacity for scripting :^), so I was wondering if it's cool with anyone if I IM or email them when I find myself unable to muster the intelect to make a big red button of doom.
:^D
yes? no? maybe?

Well, I'd say your best bet is just posting on the technical forum. Scripting can be tough to learn, but it's definitely more rewarding when you can do it yourself. I'd say read the scripting tutorial that comes with the AGS manual, and then post a message telling us exactly what you want to do. That way some of us can work together with you, so you'll be able to get the scripting done and learn something at the same time.

Good luck.

It's spelled "desperate".    ;)

I find it a great help to have a friend who sits by you. Although my friend and I almost knew nothing of scripting we created small wonders together on the screen. A little bit of forum discussions, a little bit of manual help and voila! EGO walks and talks.   ;D
