I don't know what to do!resolution problems

I am really frustrated. I can't play with the 320x24o resolution that most of your games use. I tried JAPNCA which works up to a point,then stops
in the middle of a scene and sends me back to Windows.
I get an error message about script problems.
Then today,I downloaded VonLudwig,which won't play at all and I get an
error message that says," Can't set video" or something like that.
Is there a way for me to correct this or is it hopeless?

I'm not sure what the problem is, but if it is just a problem with running in 320x240 then you could run the setup file and tell it to run in a window, or select a higher resolution (or both).  If it is a problem with running 320x240 then that should get around it.

Well,I tried to run it in a window and that didn't work either. I get an
error message when I run it in another resolution that says " Script error
sentence length too long for window width"or something close to it.
So that is a game problem I guess. It does run in the other resolutions but only up to a point.
