Hi, I'm new. I've had a search around on the forums and I couldn't find the answer to this:

I've started work on a new game, and yesterday I accidentally changed the resolution. I changed it back without making any changes to the graphics I had imported (I clicked no when it asked me if I wanted to resize things) but when I changed it back to 1024x768 it said that some elements were not at that size and would I like to change them.

I clicked yes and the only thing that changed was my GUI became HUGE! I tried changing the sizes of the various elements manually but everything still looks messed up and I get errors when I try to run the game.

Is there anyway to restore *just* the default GUI? I've already put in a lot of work to the game and I don't want to have to start again.

Do I understand correctly that you are using GUI from "Default" template unchanged?

Create a new game with default template. Go to project tree GUI node, click on every GUI item with right mouse button, and choose "Export GUI". This will let you write all guis to files.

Then go to your real game, right click on GUI node and choose "Import GUI...". Load all the files you created previously.

Also, for the future: make copies of your game as you make progress. There are more terrible ways to screw up everything.

Thanks for the quick reply! And I'm glad I learned that lesson early. I'll be sure to save different versions more often!
