Title: [SOLVED] Disappearing Midi
Post by: Asquire on Fri 17/12/2010 19:54:39
Sorry if this is a re-post, but something odd has happened.

My music, which is in .mid format, was working for my various rooms last night.  But today the music is silent.  My sounds still play, but no music.  ???

I've check file extensions (I haven't modified them at all) and the folder is where it should be.

Has anyone else ran into this problem? I'll work on other things till I get some advice on how to figure this out.

Thanks for your time!  Sorry if this is a re-post, again.

Just to be sure: check your system's volume settings. I've had that several times. ;D

Also check the game music setting (music volume and master volume), and see if it plays if you call for it explicitly.

Thanks for the response.  Just to make sure, I checked the volume settings.   I am getting the Sounds, jsut not the Music.

Where do I modify "game music setting" ??  Thanks

Not 100% sure, but I think I saw that in the Global Script

IIRC Windows Media Player sometimes muted the Midi channel.

Thanks for the help.  Turns out my anti-virus program was blocking the midi's.  Odd, huh?
