SOLVED: speech pack option greyed out

I wonder under what circumstances would the speech pack option in the setup be greyed out and non selective?

It is grayed out if there is no "speech.vox" file in the game's directory. To test this, you can create a dummy text file named "speech.vox" and the option will appear in the setup. Of course, this dummy file won't actually do anything in the game.

might have known. I took it out (speech.vox) as it was no longer required
