Hello, I been messing with this all night and I give up im trying to make a border around my text Gui  when I place anything even basic blocks in for the borders I load up the game and test it out no matter how small or big I get a space between each little block, is there something im doing wrong?

I am running 800x^600  resolution game, thanks.

Can you tell the size of Gui and the size of the sprites you are using?
Also, just in case, which version of AGS is it?

Wicked

yes sorry 3.3 version the size of the GUI is just a normal text window GUI  and the sprite I tried all sizes right now its 2 pixel by 2 but I tried all sizes and each block seems to have a big space between it, it doesnt join.  I tried blank backgrounds, PNG format backgronds, pink colored backgrounds.

Are you sure that you have set all border pieces? There are 8 of them, four corners and four middle pieces.

Yes  I tried leaving them blank as well but all I got were black blocks ill show that as well here is a picture [imgzoom]http://snag.gy/bBU4r.jpg[/imgzoom]  [imgzoom]http://snag.gy/OMz0S.jpg[/imgzoom] and after I just put 0 into the image in properties [imgzoom]http://snag.gy/7uxLZ.jpg[/imgzoom]

I am clueless ... :/

Do you use any plugins, game template or script modules made by other people?
If you make a dummy game from scratch (from any template), would you get same result?

Wicked

I have tween and Another Save game modle , the default is still the same I tried making something in photoshop rather than flash and that was worse even on the default , trid PNG , BMP and JPG the PNG didnt show anything, the BMP nothing either but white and the JPG it showed some color but in lines it was odd ill just try to uninstall AGS and imposrt a freah new copy and see what happens, ill do that in the afternoon and post.

The most obvious explanation would be that the sprites you're using have a transparent edge. One way that could happen is if you imported the sprites with "transparency based on top-left pixel".

To properly troubleshoot this issue, we'd need to know:
-how are you creating the sprites?
-how are you saving them?
-how are you importing them into AGS?

And it might also be useful to know what color depth your game is set to, and whether you've changed it since you started production.

YAY, I gave AGS a clean install, went back to flash made a tiny background color without having no outline, just used BMP and then set to no transparency, thanks you guys for the help :)
