Problem with using hotspots

I set hotspots in my game, but when i test it out nothing works. all i do is walk around. The mjessage i want doesn't show up. I followed all the intructions in the tutorial but to no avail. Please help!

telling us that it doesn't work does not tell us anything. as we can't read minds.
You will have to tell us a little more of what you have done, what you want it to do etc.

Please double-check that you actually drew hotspots, not e.g. regions.
Where did you put the command to display a message, which method did you use?

i have a chalkboard in the game that i put a hotspot on put everytime i use the 'look at' action the message i set up isn't displayed
