Title: Sprite Import
Post by: Darkmaster400 on Mon 08/05/2006 10:35:39
Hello all cool adventure gamers,

I just started a intensive project in AGS and I named it Days Offline, which I found
out the days that my internet crashed. Im not going to go into detail of the project since
I havent got enough detail myself just yet. But for my project to be started I need an
simple anwser for an simple question, I think.

I made a sprite in Paint, Windows default painting program.
I imported him into AGS, now I am getting a purple background, which I want to make transperent.
I ignored that for the moment and putted the sprite into the game, but when I start
the purple, ugly, background follows with him. I just want the sprite, not the pruple background.

Is there some way to make the purple background transperent so it wont follow with the sprite?

Adios,

---

When you import a sprite, there's a little dropdown window and next to it is the text: Transparent colour. Set the sprite so you know which colour you want to be the transparent one(EG. Make a black man on a white bg, the top-right pixel is the transparent colour and so every pixel that is white will be transparent).
