Title: Standard size for sprite ?

What would be the standard size sprite(EGO) for a 320x200 room ?
Or what  would be the most used /

It really all depends on how "zoomed in" you draw your backgrounds, and how much freedom of movement you want your character to have...

well I think what he meaned was something like:
- if the character is small, he can roam the background like if it's a LARGE area.
- if the character is drawn big, the screen will look apparently small compared to him, and thus he won't walk that "freely" (If you don't know what I mean, play RLBAT).

what usually we say is that you create your sprite to fit the doors in your room. there is no one answer.

Thank you  thats what I wanted to know ..
