What would be the standard size sprite(EGO) for a 320x200 room ?
Or what would be the most used /
It really all depends on how "zoomed in" you draw your backgrounds, and how much freedom of movement you want your character to have...

What do you mean ?
well I think what he meaned was something like:
- if the character is small, he can roam the background like if it's a LARGE area.
- if the character is drawn big, the screen will look apparently small compared to him, and thus he won't walk that "freely" (If you don't know what I mean, play RLBAT).
what usually we say is that you create your sprite to fit the doors in your room. there is no one answer.
