Stupid question about "Game Version"

There is a place in the general options called "Version". Look here:


What it is about? If version of the game, can I get it via script or it is only for vista?

I'm pretty sure it means the version of your game. Say you updated your game after releasing it. That would make it Version 1.0.1 or something.
