Title: Template GUI
Post by: on Fri 27/08/2004 16:42:38
Hey,

Is the template GUI interface (the Sierra P-N-C icons) good to use?  What I mean is: Is it buggy?  How come most people edit or create their own interfaces -- it's not because the AGS one sucks, right?

Thanks,
Ebbhead

i created (now i use proskritos) my own because i want to work with a lucasarts style one, not sierra.

theres nothing wrong with the normal one. to some it looks dated, but we suggest people use it when making their first game to get used to the engine.

The AGS one is fine, I just recommend customizing its graphics. Most people that use a Sierra-style interface do use a simple variation of the above, to my knowledge. It may help if you put an '@INVSHR@' on the 'use item' button, if it isn't there already.
