Hi, I need help with some problems. I have had these problems with my games and with downloaded games. They happen with the executable game not in the editor.

1. If I run the game in full screen, the sound starts, but there is no mouse pointer and no graphics.

2. When I run the game in a window, the sound and graphics are ok, but the mouse pointer is there but won't move and the keyboard is not working.

3. I use my Windows XP in a 800x600 resolution, the only way to make the games work completely with mouse and keyboard, is to set the game compatibility to run in a 640x480 mode, but again, this will work only in a windowed game, not in full screen.

4. Finally, when I run a game with the compatibility I say, the animations and the characters are REALLY slow.

Please help me... (By the way, I can only play games like I say, if I use the Windows EXE, with the DOS EXE the game will try to open but stays in a black screen, no graphics, no sounds, no mouse, no keyboard, and the only way to get out is using the Ctrl+Alt+Del).

Seemingly new people keep posting about these XP problems... There are at least a few theads of this, but I'm not sure has anyone come up with a solution for this........

Sorry for that...

Have you tried the XP compability mode for like, win98? Win98 works well with AGS  games, AFAIK.
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.
