Can anyone tell me how to use the interface for a game where left click is walk and interact, and right click is look?

Several templates exist that do most of the legwork for you. Search the forums for BASS (Beneath a Steel Sky) or ALARCOST (no idea).

how do I USE the templates once they're downloaded?

1. Copy the template file (.agt) in your Main AGS Templates Directory. (Extract the template if its archived).
2. Start a new game and select the respective template you want to use.
3. Enjoy! ;-D
