A couple of comments about my game's demo posted on indiegames.com:

"I'm playing it right now and find it really well done and balanced. Puzzles, to me, seem to be well thought (I found the ring one easy, am now a little bit stuck with the "teas" one). I'm playing it under Linux, Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit with Wine, and it works perfectly."

When I saked him about this:

"Indeed, without any modifications! :-)
Just double click the exe file, and that's it... good old days 'till the end, remind me of playing games under Windows/DOS and running/clicking bat or exe files. :-)"

Someone else also commented:

"I enjoyed the game. I liked the pacing, puzzles, and general feel of the game. I found the ring quite easily, but I was surprised that I did not have to change its color. I ran it in Linux, and I think with a little bit of work on the engine side, AGS games could make a great addition to the Ubuntu Software Center: a niche market for niche games."

So I'd say YES!  Although perhaps not every game will run perfectly?
