unable to load text editor

i have loaded ags engine today.but when i start agsedit.exe file i recieve an error message"unable to load text editor"plz help me .i wnt to make games.

I think this should be in the Tech Forums but anyhoo..

I'd suggest unzipping the files to a new folder .. for some reason that worked for me when I had trouble opening the editor..

Also did a load of strange mysterious numbers come up? If so jot them down and post them in the Technical Forum.

Does this happen everytime?
