Hello,

I was spending a while searching, but I found no answer, sorry for this.

I was finishing a game, and now I would like to finish my translation into English and post it here.

1.) Is the only thing required to make this game run on every PC the Cup iconed title-icon? Or do other folders need to be installed on someone's PC who likes to play this game? I was just copying the cup icon with my game's title out of the COMPILED folder, and it seem to work from everywhere. Hm, I wonder where games are saved then.

2.) I was having a look, but it seems not possible to attach a game here in the forum (?). Do I need to have my own webspace, to enable the download? I don't have any. If this is the case, maybe someone would like to help me; I would maybe send him my game, and from there it could be offered?

Sorry, if these questions are already answered somewhere, I found nothing.
Anyway, thanks a lot in advance :)

Your first question has been answered before, and is also in the Manual:
Quote
When you choose the "Save game" option in the Editor, a "Compiled" sub-directory is created in your game's folder, with all the files that you need to distribute your game. At its simplest this will just be your game executable and the setup program, but you may also have the digital music and speech files (MUSIC.VOX and SPEECH.VOX); and if you have selected to split resources files, you will also have several files named "game.001", "game.002", and so forth.
So, when you want to upload your game to the internet, just zip up the files in the Compiled folder, and there you go!

Your second question has been answered many, many times before (well, part of it has, at least). Yes, you need to upload your game somewhere to be able to share it. Try a forum search for 'free web hosting' to see the hundreds of previous suggestions for where - hell, try a google search and you'll get even more options.

And since neither question actually belongs in theis forum: Locked.
I know what you're thinking ... Don't think that.
