Is there a way to put a red border on the messages like on Space Quest and stuff?

I guess you could create your own dialog window, but I dont know much about those style games.  My suggestion should work for you.
- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.
