Title: Vertical alignment of Dialogue list
Post by: Nickydude on Sun 04/01/2009 20:22:05
Sorry for all the dialogue questions ;) but how do you align the dialogue list to the top of the dialogue area instead of the bottom (like in the image below)?

Since the default box is always at the bottom and a custom text window GUI will centre, this sounds like a perfect excuse to use abstauber's CustomDialogGUI (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=36313.0).

It sounds more like "don't use 640x480 for a 320x200 game" ;)

True, yes, but really sounds more like he wants to have the dialog options displayed at the top or the screen... or did I get you wrong here, Nick?

Ghost, I'm pretty sure he does not mean top of the screen, but top of the dialog GUI(that big black area at the bottom)

That's exactly it, like Monkey Island.

Ah, yes. Then Khris is right, isn't he? Switch to low res.
