Title: Walk Behind
Post by: ktalebian on Thu 23/02/2006 06:59:38
Hey
Soo, I have these images, and then the character has to walk from behind. When using the walking area thing, the road would basically pass over these images. But I want the character to walk from the behind (ie, once he reaches those images, only to see his head). I used the Walk-Behinds thing, but it does not work! I highlighted the barrels that should go in front, but the character still walks over them!
thank u

I believe you are forgetting about setting a baseline. check that out first, try it, and report back.  :)

Hey, thx for the reply
there is no baseline, because the entire picture is just one image, and that's the background! Do I need to break it apart into the background and those barrels?

Walkbehinds have baselines too, but unlike Objects they don't have a default placement (e.g. the bottom of the object). You need to set one for all your walkbehinds, using the 'Set Baseline' button.
